Golden Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel is beautiful in its design, but unfortunately, it is already quite shabby and is really waiting for reconstruction Situated in the countryside 40 minutes from Bodrum and 10 minutes from the Port. Quiet location with stunning views. The sea is pleasant - clean, warm Convenient location for a holiday with children, since 500 meters will be knee-deep. Pleasant staff who are communicative and try to help in solving any issues. Special thanks to the managers at the reception, in the very heart - Engin Always with a smile and a good mood, will not deprive anyone of attention, thanks to such people you want to come back

We stayed a week in this hotel and it was really good! I did not like the food but it was proper and there was more than enough for everybody. The animation team was GREAT and the activities were really fun!!! The hotel was not bad and the people were always cleaning outside keeping the gardening perfect ! This was the best holiday I had till now !

Please Read the reviews they are really truthful. Just back from 10 days reading the reviews we thought they were exaggerated. We arrive around 22.00hrs checked in they had left rolls for us and took us to our room. The guy in reception took us to room which he saw we struggle with the stairs and said come to reception next day and they would move us, which was very much appreciated and moved us the following day. Now to the bad and so many The Hotel is very Shabby an in desperate need of a refurbishment Bathrooms do have mould but are not ventilated No Towels exchange No Bath Mat we managed to get beach towels from our guy at reception. No towels exchange until our last day and room cleaned think cleaner had only been in room once in the 8 days after room change we emptied our rusty bin in bathroom no top up of toilet roll fortunately there was a cleaners cart in corridor so we took a packet No top up of water in the fridge which had seen better days, but a crate left in corridor so we took some (Not Always a crate there) FOOD well do have to agree with other reviews not great, no labels saying what the hot food was or contained and was most cold even tho on heater things they did not replenish either so after 8.30 you get "Finish" if dishes are empty. No toaster to toast bread now I know I'm English but most countries have toasters, good selection of jam. Only porridge oats as a cereal although Yogurt was nice, there was boiled eggs Scrambled eggs and some other hot stuff but we only did breakfast maybe two mornings. Lunch by the pool at 14.30 was burgers nugget chips and salad was OK but by day 8 don't was see another burger. Ice cream and 16.00 was OK, but the queue so long and possibly only let you have 2 although we were a group of three. Three evening we where told closing the seating area upstairs, so unable to sit and digest what ever we did get to eat and one evening was because they had a Turkish evening for the Turkish guests hotel us English had to leave !! Was not impressed If you are looking this hotel and have any mobility issues this hotel is not for you, steps every where and many steps had NO HAND RAILS and ramps/Slopes very steep (steps to all room blocks that we saw) may be only 4 /5 steps even to get to the elevators. the bridge across the pool had loose slats and handrail and no markings of the dept of the pool chairs and beds OK around the Pool and the staff work hard there keeping the area clean well done lads. Room are tired and balcony very small just enough room for two chairs. Never really new who worked at the hotel as they do appear to have a uniform or even just a T Shirt with hotel name on. Only saw one guy in the animation team he never spoke to us and my other big gripe is that around the pool the music was very loud rapping kinda music some days it was like like being at a rave couldn't relax and read and some ver

AVOID this hotel. We just came back today. Me and my gf for last 4 days had belly problems and diarrohea from the hotel. Other people we spoke had the same problem as we did. For ice they use tap water, dirty glasses and cutlery. Food wasn't good at all and the same every day. Flies everywhere. At the bar they can't do any cocktail. Dirty rooms, mould in the shower. All negative comments here are true. Shame we didn't read them before we bought. Don't go there at all... Avoid Avoid Avoid. Hope this will help someone as this place should be 1star hotel or closed...

Where to even start. I feel like I’m in an episode of Come Fly With Me because this has been the HOLIDAY FROM HELL! Unsafe for women, we as two twenty year old girls experienced sexual harassment from male staff who tried to ‘claim us’ as their property, and then proceeded to get verbally aggressive towards us when we told them we were uninterested. As if their behaviour wasn’t sickening enough, the food was diabolical. So unfit for human consumption we resorted to starvation and had to go off site to find something edible! Ripped off to have payed for an all inclusive resort and not able to eat anything without it immediately shooting out the other end. Would only recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an extreme weight loss plan!! If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would, I would have felt safer in prison shower!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Please stay away from this awful hotel. I am adding photos for you to see what places is when we only moved into our room. They do not clean rooms at all, for 10 days that we stayed no towels were replaced and they give only dirty towels, every single person I spoke to was disguised with hotel. Do not book in this hotel. Also a manager tried to attack my physically after I told him that hotel is awful and not clean. Think twice before going to this hotel. Photos speak for themselves

Please where to start? This is the worse hotel ever!!! So disappointed from start to finish,the rooms were disgusting birds nest by the door then got moved to a room broken air con tv cracked!!then moved to 3 rd room which they said they had deep cleaned!!( they hadn’t) we had no bed for our son he had to sleep on a chair! I have poor mobility which on the beach knew yet this hotel tried to put me on the 3 rd floor and the lift had broke! If you are English you will be stared at like you have 2 heads! Our son was intimidated in the pool over religion children’s entertainer did not even look at our son no interaction what so ever!! The food was awful ok if you like rubber cheese and food that looks like vomit!ugh a few staff members were helpful, this is not a hotel for English we are too polite, the pictures make it look amazing! Nooo it’s dirty and smelly and as for the beach another disappointment!! We have been to Turkey on numerous occasions but never again!! And as for the music by the pool it’s sooo loud and distorted mainly Turkish songs . We felt like Aliens the shop tried to rip us off wanted £16 for 3 bags of crisps,even the staff say too many problems in the hotel ….my advice stay well clear

This is not a 4 star hotel. Me and my boyfriend spent 10 days here and to start off the hotel displays the wrong location on everything, It took us 3 hours to get to the hotel from the airport because of this, we felt very trapped as nothing nearby and we couldn’t find the hotels exact location. our room was okay- could have been more cleaner, I have loads of bug bites, our balcony smelt like strong urine, cleaner came twice and bed wasn’t changed once, had to ask for clean towels. English people are definitely unwelcome in this hotel we got stares everywhere we went, eventually just stopped going out within the hotel, The guy who works in the shop is a creep so please don’t go in yourself if you are a young girl! There was absolutely no wi-fi luckily we found a reliable website and got an E-sim, food is not great,we ended up sick every day, flys everywhere. the highlight of our holiday was the boat trip provided so we are thankful for that and too the lovely guy who provided us with this and checked up on us often, however very disappointed this hotel is nothing like we expected and ultimately ruined our holiday, we looked into moving hotels but couldn’t afford it, I don’t understand how this is a 4 star.

The hotel MUST BE CLOSED. This hotel should be closed forever. All pictures on all sites are not true. Maybe they were current more than 5 years ago. But it's real hell there. My whole family experienced such stress for the 4 days we lost there before we could move to another hotel. DO NOT GO THERE EVER. Words are not enough for me to describe everything we saw. There is no gym, the rooms are TERRIBLELY DIRTY AND RUINED. The whole base looks like after a war, it was so dirty. Almost all of the staff couldn't speak English and there were no labels in front of food that looked awful and you had to guess what it was. Hygiene was below zero. The hotel is - 4 stars not 4. I can list so many more things but I don't want to bore you. PLEASE DON'T GO THERE. We will pursue our rights for this FRAUD.
